The report highlights Sri Lanka’s 50 Best Workplaces, determined through a rigorous assessment of workplace trust, meaningful values, and leadership effectiveness. The comprehensive study captured insights from over 80,000 employees across more than 200 organizations and various industries. Notably, the top 50 organizations achieved an impressive average Trust Index score of 91%, maintaining their high performance from the 2025 cycle and outpacing the rest of the studied companies by a significant 11 percentage points.
Among the recognized top workplaces, employees reported key areas of strength, particularly in organizational pride (95%), experiencing a warm welcome, and perceiving strong business acumen from their leadership. The most crucial drivers fostering this positive emotional connection were managers acting as role models and consistent egalitarian treatment. Despite these overarching successes, the report also identified clear areas for continued growth across all organizations, emphasizing that leaders need to focus on ensuring fair promotions, mitigating workplace politics, and establishing transparent, fair pay and profit-sharing mechanisms.
